Job Position – IT Support Officer

Required Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in information Technology, Computer science, or a related field
– Proven experience in IT support or helpdesk roles. (2+ years)
– Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems (windows, macOS, Linux)
– Proficiency in troubleshooting network issues, including LAN, WAN and WI-FI connectivity
– Experience with configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting printers, scanners and other peripherals
– Familiarity with common enterprise software applications and productivity tools (Microsoft Office Suite, email clients)
– Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and basic security protocols
– Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems efficiently
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to assist users effectively
– Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment
– Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide technical support and assistance to end-users for hardware, software and network issues
– Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems promptly to minimize downtime
– Maintain and monitor computer systems, servers and network infrastructure
– Install, configure and update hardware and software applications as required
– Manage user accounts, permissions and access control in accordance with organizational policies
– Conduct routine maintenance and system backups to ensure data integrity and security
– Document support activities, solutions and system configurations accurately
– Assist in the setup and deployment of new hardware and software across the organization
– Educate and train users on new technologies and best practices for efficient system usage
– Collaborate with IT team members and external vendors to resolve complex technical issues
– Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards and organizational guidelines
– Contribute to the development and improvement of IT support processes and Salary & Benefits: As per internal benchmark and industry standard.
