Job Overview:

As a key member of our architectural, structural and MEPconsulting team, the Architect plays a pivotal role in shaping our projects – ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing solutions.

Responsibilities:

Conceptual Design and Planning: Collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams to develop initial design concepts. Create space plans, sketches, and mood boards to communicate design ideas effectively.
Detailed Design Development: Translate conceptual designs into detailed architectural plans, drawings, and specifications. Consider structural and environmental requirements while maximizing space utilization and sustainability.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that architectural designs adhere to local building codes, zoning regulations, accessibility standards, and safety requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with structural engineers, MEP engineers to seamlessly integrate architectural and structural elements into the design.
Project Management: Oversee architectural aspects throughout project phases, including design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. Maintain project schedules and budgets.
Client Interaction: Establish and maintain strong client relationships. Gather feedback, address concerns, and provide regular project updates to ensure client satisfaction.
Cost Estimation and Control: Assist in budgeting and cost estimation for architectural components, monitor costs, and identify cost-effective solutions without compromising design integrity.
Quality Assurance: Conduct on-site inspections to ensure architectural elements are executed as per the approved design and meet quality and safety standards.
Innovation and Sustainability: Stay updated on emerging architectural trends, materials, and technologies. Integrate sustainable and environmentally friendly design principles into projects where applicable.
Visualization and Presentation: Utilize architectural software and visualization tools to create detailed 2D and 3D representations for client presentations and internal team reviews.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
State-issued architectural license.
5 years of UAE experience in designing different types of projects, with a focus on architectural and structural consulting projects.
Demonstrated expertise in building information modelling(BMI)
Proficiency in architectural software and design tools.
Comprehensive knowledge of structural procedures, specifications, local and national building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and cross-functional collaboration.
Innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities in architectural design and construction.
